A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available in the Research Division of Nephrology, working with Dr. Ulf Beier.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute is an interdisciplinary institution dedicated to conducting basic, clinical and translational research on conditions and diseases that affect children, and is part of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania research community.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Cellular & Molecular Biology or a related field. Class ranking of cum laude and above preferred. Transcripts required at time of interview.

Job Summary:
A postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Ulf Beier, a Principal Investigator in the Nephrology Division studying the field of Transplant Immunology. The postdoc will work under the guidance of the Principal Investigator to design, plan, and execute research in Transplant Immunology involving in vitro and in vivo studies of the anti-inflammatory actions of Foxp3+ regulatory T cells.

In addition the successful candidate will have experience with cell culture, flow cytometry and standard laboratory molecular and/or protein techniques, including RNA, DNA isolation and handling (qPCR), Protein analysis (Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation).
